A helping hand from students of SMKA SULTAN MUHAMMAD:-

BOOKS ARE PRECIOUS AND SHOULD BE TREATED ACCORDINGLY

Books are sorted out according to classification. Numerous number of books have to be taken out from the shelves due to wear and tear through the years. The damaged books are then sent to the Bilik Kerja to undergo the process of restoration.

MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

Library Prefects and Bestari Prefects looking  very proud indeed as they work together. Sweeping the floor, wiping the shelves, rearranging the furniture..... it was a long and tiring day but very fulfilling nontheless.

Form 6 students giving their support and providing ideas on what works and what doesn't. They are truly a creative bunch!

"We have to get this just right or else it will look crooked" advised Akmal to Irfan. Both are no longer PS An-Nur prefects because of other commitments in school. You will be missed boys.

PENUTUPAN PROGRAM NILAM 2011

MAJLIS PENUTUPAN PROGRAM NILAM SESI 2011

Majlis penutupan Program NILAM 2011 memuatkan persembahan pelajar di dalam bicara buku secara berkumpulan dan bicara buku oleh guru. Disamping itu pelajar dihiburkankan dengan persembahan movie maker yang merekodkan pelaksanaan program di sepanjang tahun akademik 2011.

AKTIVITI RAKAN PEMBACA

 Al-Qawiem memberi penerangan tentang bacaan yang telah dijalankan kepada sekumpulan pelajar.

PELAJAR MENDENGAR PENERANGAN DARI RAKAN SEKELAS

Penerangan dari rakan disusuli dengan perbincangan dan sesi soal jawab antara rakan. Aktivit seumpama ini dapat menggalakkan pemikiran kritis di kalangan pelajar.

PELANCARAN PROGRAM NILAM 2012

VIDEO PELANCARAN PROGRAM NILAM 2012

Pelancaran Program NILAM 2012 dengan rasminya menandakan program ini telah bermula dan bakal tamat pada 30 September 2012.

PENGAWAS PSS BERDEDIKASI

 Kaunter Sirkulasi dibuka seawal 7.30 pagi dan tutup pada 4.15 petang (Isnin-Khamis) dan 12 tengahari pada hari pulang ke kampung. Kemudahan tayangan Astro yang berterusan untuk tontonan warga
SMKA Sultan Muhammad.

DI SINILAH SEMUANYA BERMULA

Permintaan pelajar untuk ditambah seleksi fiksyen Bahasa Melayu dan Bahasa Inggeris akan dipenuhi, InsyaAllah. Semoga kita semua dapat menjaga dengan penuh bertanggung jawab khazanah ilmu yang telah sedia ada di sini.

RESTORATION OF WORN OUT BOOKS

WORKING HAND IN HAND

The restoration of old books is a laborious process. It requires a lot of TLC (Tender, Love and Care).

The library prefects that are assigned to this task are aware that they need to be extra careful when handling the old books.

First the old plastic wrapper and other impurities are removed from the books. Next torn pages would be glued back on and worn labels would be replaced with new ones. 

The last step is, the books would be wrapped with a new piece of plastic and sent back to the shelves. The books are now as good as new!

BUSY AS A BEE

The compilation of newspaper cutting too is done during the evenings. Prefects on duty would select interesting articles from Berita Harian, The Star and The New Straits Times and have the articles compiled in the designated files according to topics. The topics are namely Sports, Education, Politics, Current Isuues, Global and etc.

MENYEDIAKAN LAMAN BLOG PUSAT SUMBER AN-NUR

BERTUKAR-TUKAR IDEA

 Laman blog yang telah lama dirancang untuk diadakan dapat juga kami hasilkan. Blog ini adalah hasil usahasama GPM Pn Roslina bt Abdul Latiff dan 4 pelajar yang terlibat Armin Zakwan bin Rosdi, Muhammad Budiman bin Zamhor, Ahmad bin Muhammad Farid dan Aizat Syamim bin Ismail semuanya pelajar Tingkatan 2.

Blog ini diharap akan dapat menyebarkan maklumat terkini mengenai Pusat Sumber An-Nur dengan cara yang lebih effektif selari dengan tema Blog kami” PSS-Penjana Ilmu Pendidikan Kontemporari.”

LANGGANAN SURAT KHABAR

SURAT KHABAR ''THE STAR''

Program Langganan surat khabar The Star adalah sebahagian daripada usaha PS An-Nur untuk menyahut Program MBMMBI memartabatkan Bahasa Melayu dan Memperkukuhkan Bahasa Inggeris. 

Dengan pembacaan artikel dan perihal isu-isu semasa yang ditulis di dalam Bahasa Inggeris, pelajar diharap akan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan Bahasa Inggeris terutama di dalam penulisan dan percakapan harian.

Bendahari Kelas bertanggungjawab mendapatkan akhbar The Star setiap hari di PS An-Nur selepas perhimpunan pagi. Untuk menjamin supaya usaha murni ini dapat diteruskan, setiap kelas diharap agar dapat menjelaskan yuran langganan sebanyak RM 5/ seminggu kepada Pn Roslina bt Abdul Latiff atau Ustazah Nurul Huda bt Awang Yaacob.

200 COPIES OF SCHOOL TIMES EVERY THURSDAY

SCHOOL TIME NEWSPAPER

Syukur Alhamdulillah SMKASM has been selected to be one of the schools in Melacca to receive 200 issues of School Times on every Thursday. 

What’s great about this is that these issues are given to us for FREE! Yup, we need not pay a cent for the brilliant issues that we receive-all 200 copies of them. Thank You  Allah, thank you New Straits Times!

PACKED WITH EXERCISES THAT ARE FUN TO DO

Each class would receive 4 copies to share among classmates for the week. Apart from this, two English teachers would be given a set of 30 copies each week to fully utilise them with students in class during teaching. So each student would be able to complete tasks, solve riddles and try out exercises in their own time as the issues would be considered theirs to make use of .
